Course Overview

AutoCAD Professional Technical Drafting is an exclusive class, not available with any other training provider. This practical portfolio workshop is for students who have little or no prior experience creating professional-level architectural, construction, and design plans using AutoCAD 2027 (or earlier versions).

You will learn the fundamental expertise for Engineering and Architectural Technical Drafting and how to create real-life, semi-professional level plans similar to those created by actual companies in the field. Students create from 12 to 20 different architectural, electrical, and structural engineering drawings, details, elevations, and more, printed in various paper sizes from letter to 36×48 full architectural size.

This course features unique expertise and productivity-focused improvements from PRO Trainers IT: Speed Drafting, Design Re-Engineering, and Advanced Model Visualization — elements not taught in any standard certification course.

  • Architectural floor plan creation from scratch — professional AEC standards and conventions
  • Elevations, building sections, and construction detail drawings
